Oh and Judy I like your Art to.The difference between me and her though is that Im not trying to sell you anything. If a Gallery or Agency wants alot of money upfront in exchange for a low commission then its a scam.I have been in five galeries if you count Golden Leaves Book Store and the Brooms Closet and I never had to pay to be seen.
Judy dont listen to her all she is is a telemarketer that wants your money plain and simple.she hasnt sold one piece of Art in her life. Before this she was a telemarketer for accent. The Art Exchange doesnt sell Art.They sell artist their Dreams and then ruin their lives.Run Judy Run!!!!!!!!!!!Run for dear life!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it's soooo easy for me to promote others' work but when it comes to my own, I become almost mute. Hopefully, I will find a happy medium one of these days :)) I hope the same for you as well.
At one time I worked for the most successful wedding trade show producer in CA. She had been in the business for years and years. Yet every year before the shows took place, she would become increasingly nervous. I asked her what she could possible fear and she told me that her biggest fear was that no brides would come and the vendors would be terribly disappointed. Of course, that never happened to her but I guess it didn't keep her insecurities from happening.
Let's look forward to our events with hope and positive anticipation :))
Your news is very exciting about the theater project! Congrats!!! I know exactly how you must be feeling. My hubby & I have our first photographic "show" coming up January 15th and we're very excited ~ yet nervous at the same time :)) Good luck to you and enjoy EVERY minute of the experience. As we do more of these events, I'm sure some of our jitters will decrease :))
What kind of connection request did you send? I'm not seeing anything......:((

My BEST to you as you go through the learning curve. Art is so subjective, no matter what medium, and it's hard getting a foot in the door. My hubby & I are showing a few of our photographic (and giclee) pieces in January in a coffee house on the CA coast. We're excited just to have this small opportunity! :)) Keep me posted on how your path is opening up.......
VERY NICE! I love the bright (yet subtle) colors of your work. BTW - thank you for the compliment on my business website. I recently opened a shop on etsy.com also (earthnskystudio).
