Born and raised in the rustic backwoods village of Talkeetna, Alaska, Judah got a BA in Liberal Arts with a focus on Business and E-Commerce from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has been designing websites for over eight years and specializes in website design for artists. His short stories have been published in the New York Twist Magazine and The Improper North Shoreian Magazine. Currently, Judah lives on Long Island with his wife Lorien where he spends his free time writing short stories, and working on his novels under the watchful eye of his cat, Athena.

Shirley M. Flanagan has experience in writing, editing, and teaching new writers. Previous experience includes writing a fashion column for North American Fashion Frocks where she provided management for the Eastern Ontario Area Company based in the U.S. She is also the creator of Writer’s Oasis Chat where she hosts published writers and more to discuss varying topics related to living as a writer. Since December 2005, she has also compiled and edited a monthly newsletter for the group. Writers Oasis began as a three times weekly AOL Workshop, but is now on BeYourArt.com as well.
