The Basics

Social marketing sites help your web content (websites, blogs, images, etc.) get more exposure. Each one has different terminology but they all hold to the same concept in that you share with other members your submitted content. Then people rate it. The higher the rating the more people will see it.
All you do is create an account with the social marketing networks listed below, submit content (websites, articles, images, and videos), and post a link to your profile from the social networks to the appropriate discussion thread here in this topic.

The Steps:
1. Create accounts with the social marketing sites listed below.
2. Submit content (artwork, websites, blog posts, articles, etc.)
3. Post a link to your profile from each social marketing site in the appropriate thread
4. Go to other members profiles and rate their submitted content
5. Reap the benefits of increased exposure

Artists who join this group will then friend you on these networks and help market your submitted content. This will help drive a lot of traffic to your site. Artists unite!

Otherwise you are sacrificing your 'creative' time for on-line busy-ness. Choose well, find places like BYA that allow you to do more than one thing in the same place, use the sites that are most relevant to your specific endeavors, and HAVE FUN!
