Hello all,
I've just joined this group, and I hope to learn lot's about internet marketing.
My background is primarily in visual arts, although I do have a small, self-published book in my history. My new career is as a publisher, I just have my first book out, and I really need to learn all I can about promoting it.
I can offer you this. I found a printer (www.lightningsource.com), that was the only source I found that could one-off books for a reasonable price, and ship them where I need them. Furthermore, the book is available both in distribution (Ingrams), and Amazon.com in England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the U.S. and Canada, where I live. Vanity and POD publishers I've researched seem to offer a lot of services, some of them may be worthwhile. Most of what they offer I've been able to provide for myself with little difficulty (ISBNs and such), and are expensive. I was able to setup with lightningsource for under $200.00 US.
