Comment by Vincent von Frese on June 3, 2009 at 12:26am: A number of times I've thought of the importance of have a publicist or agent. I have seen them do wonders for sales of artists they choose. How can a free thinking painter of sculptor be concerned all day with appointments and scheduling shows or sales presentations? No way if you are anything like me. I am aware of what it takes but have as yet failed to get a descent experienced art sales and marketing agent to show much interest. It would appear that with all of the art lovers who are not employed at this time should train for this position in an online coarse of some kind if nothing else.
