I am currently trying to figure out how to create a database for organizing new play submissions. I know that some of the larger theatres use a program called "File Maker" but it's quite expensive. Does anyone have alternate suggestions? I know people had to be doing this before File Maker came into existence....

You could set up a gmail account specifically for such an act. It would work because gmail basically has infinite storage because google is the man.

You mean organize the submissions by email rather then hard-copy? In this day and age that just might work...
